The Click Clack Boom’s journey to SXSW began on Friday, March 12 2010. I typically do not travel with these guys, so on this morning anxiousness for trip was becoming unbearable; we were all very eager
to hit the road!
Myself and band members Eric Miller, Grant Wilson, Billy Newman, and Nathaniel Hoho (in order from left to right from above picture) met to leave at 10am, Austin Texas bound for SXSW 2010. For the first couple of hours we waited for Grant, drummer for The Click Clack Boom. He had been last minute printing t-shirts for the trip. 3 pm, Grant finally Arrives. All the t shirts are ruined. The bucket of printing ink had been knocked in the box of freshly printed shirts.
Day 1..... already interesting.
Spirits were down, but not for long.
We were
off! The first destination was
to Seton Hill
University where
The Click Clack Boom would
be
performing the first show of the evening.
After the show we quickly loaded the
van, took
a quick stop at a nearby fans
house,
and were on our way to
Cedars Lounge in
Youngstown, OH, for
the second show of the
evening. We all
slept on another loyal fans
floor in
Youngstown and got a healthy
4 hours
of sleep.
